At the smart Government building in Kinshasa, the Congolese Minister of public health, hygiene and prevention, Dr Roger Kamba received last Wednesday, April 05, the WHO delegation (World Health Organization), led by Boureina Sambo, WHO Representative in the DRC, accompanied by Dr. Moeti Tshidiso, WHO/Africa Regional Director, in her office.
According to the communication cell of the ministry, the exchange revolved around “The materialization of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).”
At the same time, the Minister of Health and WHO officials exchanged views on the support of this organization in improving the population’s health system, health security as well as monitoring the response to epidemics and chronic diseases, vaccination, maternal and child health as well as problems related to environmental health.
