The latest is that of the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Tshisekedi. Via Twitter, Félix Tshisekedi, expressed, on his behalf and on behalf of the Congolese people, his sadness following the death of the Queen of England, Elizabeth II.
According to Félix Tshisekedi, this disappearance is an immense loss for the United Kingdom and for the world which it has majestically marked during its 70 years of reign.
“The Head of State presents his sincere condolences to the Royal Family of England, to the British people and to the authorities of the United Kingdom”,
indicated President Tshisekedi quoted by the Presidency of the Republic. The United Kingdom is entering a new era: Queen Elizabeth II, with age of 96 has passed away. For more than seventy years, the sovereign accompanied the British and left her mark on her country.
An “exceptional” length of reign, which only Queen Victoria came close to among her predecessors, in power for exactly 63 years and seven months, from 1837 to 1901. It is also the longest reign in world history without regency.
