According to witnesses found on the spot, these bandits broke into several houses from where they managed to steal several valuables objects and injured two young boys before quietly withdrawing into the wild without fear of the security elements.
“In any case, the situation happened just at 12:50 Am and the situation lasted more than an hour and the those criminals came and looted several goods from the population and also shot two young people. We regret that this is happening in the neighborhood and even the intervention did not occur. We do not know where our police they are, where our soldiers they are, they spend the night in their houses whereas at night they have to guard the population” testified a young neighbor who experienced the incident.
Faced with this situation, some residents of these neighborhoods are asking for security to be reinforced in their jurisdictions. They point out, however, that several highway robbers seem to benefit from the protection of certain authorities, because in their perceptions, these inhabitants emphasize that each time a criminal is arrested grace to the collaboration between civilians and the forces of security, these criminals regain their freedom without any form of trial. This population denounces this practice which, according to them, exposes them more to insecurity.
