The students of South Kivu, all gathered within their various representations and provincial coordination and represented by the council of elders and the committees, made it known during a peaceful march organized this Wednesday, November 09/2022.
In their memorandum read by their provincial spokesperson in South Kivu, Byamungu Casimir Samuel, these students ask the South Kivu youth to support the call of the Head of State asking them to enlist massively in the FARDC to defend the territorial integrity of the DR Congo, victim of covetousness of its wealth by Rwanda and Uganda deliberately supported by multinationals.
A rapid service in the 26 provinces of one month to all young students of the Democratic Republic of Congo should be created but also to break diplomatic relations with Uganda by expelling its accredited ambassador in DR Congo.
The memorandum was received by the executive secretary of the provincial government, Sisa Wanumba Gaston, who reassured the demonstrators to send their grievances to whom it may concern.
I would simply like to thank you for this call; the response you have reserved today testifies to your availability to respond positively to the Head of State’s call. On the ground things are changing and our FARDC are winning. We are going to recover our occupied territories”, informs the representative of the provincial authority
Note that this march started from Independence Square to the provincial governor
