The information received from the military press in Ituri, say that this FARDC boss came to Ituri for a troop inspection and command mission.
“He came for a troop inspection and command mission,” said Lt Jules Ngongo, spokesman for military operations and the state of siege in Ituri.
It should be noted that this visit is the first of the Chief commander of FARDC since taking office as number one of the army in DRC. And this mission in Ituri comes after that of Beni where he was staying together with his Ugandan counterpart since the beginning of the current week to assess the 4th phase of joint FARDC-UPDF operations and decide on the 5th phase.
